MOTHER and daughter duo Sharon and Livvi Grant started their business Daffodil PR & Communications in 2018, after working together for five years in previous roles.
Speaking on International Women’s Day, Livvi said: “We see International Woman’s Day as a means of uniting women from all walks of life and celebrating their achievements.
"We have come a long way in terms of gender equality and it’s important that we have a global day to celebrate women and recognise our achievements.
Sharon said: “International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate and honour women from past, present and future generations from across the world and a day to inspire the younger generation to recognise their own potential and to dream big.”
Talking about what they each bring to their roles and what they love about being an all-women family business, Sharon added: “I love to bring positivity, empathy, and honesty to our work life and to have fun."
Livvi said: “I love that we are a mother-daughter team, that no two days are ever the same and that we laugh every day."
Sharon and Livvi plan to mark International Women’s Day by attending a special event at Queen’s College, who also happen to be one of their clients.
