THIS season the National League team of Huish Tigers U16 boys have gone undefeated in the league, and qualified for the National Playoff Tournament.
Based at Richard Huish College and coached by Gary Carter, the boys have won all of their league fixtures finishing the regular season with 14 wins and no losses.
They scored 1080 points and gave up 643.
The next best scoring team in the league scored 808 points making the Tigers dominant in scoring and results.
The boys are from different schools across the area and come together twice a week to train, starting with preseason camps in the summer, and then throughout the season from September to April.
Their coach, Gary Carter has done an impressive job training them and bringing them together as a team and this is evidenced both in their results but also the way they play.
This is the first time that a team from Tigers has gone undefeated at this level.
The first round of playoffs is Saturday April 2 and Tigers go into the round as one of three league winners and will have home court advantage.
