TWO boys have been arrested following a stabbing incident in Taunton in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday, March 13).

The victim, a 17-year-old male, sustained two stab wounds in Fletcher Close at about 2.25am.

Police say his injuries are not believed to be life changing.

The two juveniles who were arrested have been questioned and released under investigation.

Locals have taken to social media to report seeing officers searching people's gardens, bushes and drains.

Officers remained in the area into the afternoon as part of their investigation.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "An investigation is underway after a teenager was wounded in Taunton on Sunday 13 March.

“A 17-year-old male was found to have sustained two stab wounds in Fletcher Close, at about 2.25am.

"His injuries are not believed to be life-changing.

“Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with this incident and released under investigation.
