SOMERSET residents who wish to dress their homes with a handmade Easter wreath can learn how to make one at a Christmas tree farm in the county.
The Crafts at Christmas Shop at Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm in Langford Budville is holding Easter wreath-making workshops on April 1, 2, and 3 from 10am until 4.30pm.
The Easter wreath
Expert wreath-maker, Trudy Hendy, who will host the sessions, said: “After Christmas, Easter is one of the biggest celebrations in the calendar, so why not celebrate by adorning your front door or the inside of your home with a beautiful, themed wreath?
“Attendees to the workshop will learn all they need to know about making a luxurious Easter wreath using a variety of different materials.
“I will provide decorations for people to use and will teach those who come along how to create something beautiful using a step-by-step process. Everyone will be able to personalise their designs to their own tastes and take their finished wreath home with them to display with pride.
“The workshops look set to be both fun and informative and I hope people sign up and come along.”
These hands-on sessions, which are held in a good-sized, airy space, are for anyone looking to learn a new skill that can be improved upon every year.
Trudy will be teaching the Easter wreath making workshops on Friday, April 1, Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 from 10am until 4.30pm.
