POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a vandal/s went on the rampage in Minehead.

A number of cars, buildings and trees were spray painted in the town on Friday night, according to Minehead and West Somerset Neighbourhood Policing.

The vandalism was caused in Cat Lane, Ponsford Road, Irnham Road, Irnham Mews, King George Park and Irnham Recreation Ground between 7pm and 9pm.

A spokesperson for the police team said: "A number of cars, buildings and trees were spray painted.

"Please if you have any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage around 7pm-9pm in these areas please can you make contact with us and quote 5222060228.

"We have located some CCTV to assist us with these enquires but would appreciate it if anyone else has any further CCTV or can provide any further information."
