SEVERAL police officers rushed to a woodland on the edge of Taunton after the force received a call over concerns for a person's welfare at the weekend.
Police who attended the incident at the site off Manor Road, Staplegrove, beside the local post office and store, at lunchtime on Saturday (March 19) confirmed the person was fine.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We had a call at about 1.50pm on Saturday from a member of the public concerned for an individual's welfare.
"We attended and confirmed they were fine and officers resumed patrols at about 2.30pm."
