ST MARGARET’S Hospice has teamed up with Somerset-based sportswear brand, Flanci, to launch a collection of activewear adorned with sunflowers to raise funds for the hospice.
The collection which includes full-length leggings, capris, shorts for men and women and skorts, is now available to purchase on the Flanci website.
The stunning range of activewear is covered with a colourful design which was created by local surface pattern artist, Jan Olive of Jan Olive Designs, and incorporates the hospice’s sunflower logo.
The leggings are made out of a soft and supportive fabric and have two roomy thigh pockets as well as a zipped pocket in the waistband.
They are squat proof and have been marathon tested so are perfect for all workouts from the gym to yoga and trails to tumbling.
Flanci are generously donating a proportion from the sale of each item in the sunflower range to St Margaret’s Hospice, which they estimate will be in the region of £3.50 for every pair of sunflower leggings sold.
The money will be used to help St Margaret’s to continue to provide care and support to patients across Somerset suffering from a life-limiting illness and their families.
Vivien Cioma, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at St Margaret’s, said: “We are thrilled we’ve had the opportunity to work with Flanci and Jan Olive to create this beautiful range of activewear for St Margaret’s.
“We absolutely love all the items in our new collection, there’s an item for everyone.
“We are so grateful to Flanci for creating such a wonderful opportunity for people to support the hospice.
“Without the support of our community and local businesses like Flanci, we simply would not be able to provide the care and support we do to patients across Somerset suffering from a life-limiting illness and their families every year.
“So, if you are looking for a new pair of leggings and want to support St Margaret’s please do take a look at the collection.
“We’re looking forward to seeing people across Somerset wearing their colourful leggings, shorts, and capris in support of St Margaret’s.”
Nicky Chrascina, founder of Flanci, added: “It was an honour to be asked to develop some sunflower leggings for St Margaret’s Hospice. As a small local business, we are delighted that we can do something to help such a fantastic organisation that helps so many people in our area.
“A very dear friend of ours received fantastic care from St Margaret’s when she sadly had cancer.”
Surface pattern designer Jan Olive said: “It was lovely to work with the St Margaret’s Hospice colours and sunflower to create a cheerful, sunny print.”
