THE team at the Mattancherry Indian restaurant in Taunton raised £336 at a fundraising dinner in aid of Love Musgrove.
Diners tucked into a four-course menu of Keralan dishes specially created by head chef Loganathan Ramasamy to benefit the work of Musgrove Park Hospital.
Visiting Mattancherry, in Station Road, Jordan Hills from Love Musgrove fundraising said: “We were thrilled to have the support of Mattancherry and their customers as they hosted their charity dinner.
"Support from local businesses just like Mattancherry goes such a long way in helping the charity create a comfortable and engaging environment for patients at Musgrove Park Hospital, that supports family and friends too."
Restaurant manager Ricardo Freitas said “We know that over the last few years there has been a tremendous amount of focus on the NHS, but we are very aware that the work of our wonderful Musgrove Park Hospital continues on, benefitting our local community day in, day out.
"We were delighted to support the great work of Love Musgrove and must say a big thank you to the diners who joined us on the night who made this fundraising possible.
"As an ongoing thank you to our hard-working NHS, we offer a 10 per cent discount on dine-in food to anyone with an NHS ID card, and we look forward to thanking many more of our fantastic local doctors, nurses and support teams in person at Mattancherry over the coming months."
