POLICE have been called in after a church was damaged in an act of vandalism.
A door at St Cuthbert's Church, in Wells, was damaged and glass was smashed.
The incident took place at around 4.15pm to 4.25pm on Wednesday of last week (March 16).
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "CCTV enquiries have been carried out and show a man we wish to talk to in connection with this incident."
He is described as white, in his 50s, approximately 5ft 11ins tall, with a receding hairline.
In the CCTV image he is seen wearing a green coat and black trousers.
The spokesperson added: "We are keen to hear from any witnesses, especially a woman who was walking a big black dog in the area and may have seen what happened.
