A MAN killed in a road traffic collision in Cornwall is believed to be from Somerset, according to police.
The fatal crash occurred on the A30 shortly before 3.30pm yesterday afternoon (Friday, March 25) between the B3274 and the A39 at Victoria and Indian Queens.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said a single vehicle was involved.
They initially reported that the victim had suffered "serious injuries" and was airlifted to hospital
The dead man is believed to be a 60-year-old man from Somerset.
The westbound carriageway of the road was closed for around six hours while a police investigation team carried out a forensic examination of the scene,
