VOLUNTEERS in Dulverton have been busy knitting yellow and blue ducks to raise money for the Ukraine appeal.
The cute Dulverton Ducks paddled into the news in 2017 when they were knitted by local volunteers.
An Easter egg was added and they were sold in the Thrift shop to raise money for the town hall.
Now Shuna Bland, a trustee of Dulverton the Town Hall’s charity, has summoned the help of 20 willing assistants to create a new version of the duck.
Dohlyad Duck, Dulverton Duck’s cousin from Ukraine, takes its name from the Ukrainian word for 'care'.
The woolly birds will be given chocolate eggs and sold in the Thrift Shop as a fundraiser for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal.
