HUNDREDS of people queued up to get a view of the Museum of the Moon exhibit in Taunton Minster yesterday (Sunday, March 27).
At one stage visitors were formed up in a queue snaking for more than 100 metres outside the former St Mary Magdalene Church.
Somerset West and Taunton Council has teamed up with artist Luke Jerram and the Minster to bring the display to the county town.

The touring artwork, which has been seen by more than three million people at venues across the world, will be on display in the Minster until the end of this month.
Measuring six metres in diameter, the moon features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface.
