POLICE detained five youths in Bridgwater last night (Wednesday, March 30) following a call concerning anti-social driving in the town.
Officers attended the incident at around 8.30pm amid concerns that people were being put at risk.
The caller reported "underage youths" driving in the town.
Police stopped a car and detained five youths.
A spokesperson for the Avon and Somerset Police Roads Policing Unit said an unlicensed driver has been reported for summons.
A vehicle was seized.
The spokesperson added on social media: "Call regarding underage youths driving antisocially in Bridgwater. Endangering public.
"Car caused to stop, 5 youths detained, unlicensed driver reported for summons.
"Car seized, off the road for good hopefully.
"Out there, after them."
