A SOMERSET woman has died in a two-car collision in Scotland.
Police Scotland have named the woman as Patricia Kim Common, aged 61, from the Yeovil area.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision in the Scottish Borders on Saturday afternoon (April 2).
Ms Common was driving her white Volkswagen Up! when it collided with a black Volvo XC40 on the A698 Kelso to Hawick road near Heiton at about 12.50pm.
The Volvo driver - a 44-year-old man - was injured in the incident.
He was taken to Borders General Hospital, but police say his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Sgt Mark Banner, from Police Scotland’s road policing unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash who saw anything or has dashcam footage that could assist with our inquiries to please come forward.
“If you can assist our investigation please contact us on 101, quoting incident 1549 of Saturday, 2 April, 2022.”
