A TEAM of volunteer police officers from three police stations stopped a vehicle on the A38 in Somerset following a tip off from the public.
The six special constables from Taunton, Wellington and Williton pulled over the vehicle based on the information supplied.
A Section 23 Misuse of Drugs search was carried out in the car and a number of items were seized.
The driver was then arrested after failing a roadside drugs tests.
Avon and Somerset Police Special Constables tweeted: "Last night 6 Specials from Taunton, Wellington and Williton working on intel stopped a vehicle on the A38 in Somerset.
"Section 23 misuse of drugs act search conducted and a number of items seized.
"Driver arrested for failing roadside drug wipe."
