A MIDDLE-aged man attacked another man at Taunton Station.
Mark Hayman, 60, of Hilltop Meadow, Newton Abbot, pleaded guilty to assault by beating when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court.
Hayman admitted the offence at the station on August 26 last year.
He was handed a community order, including 150 hours unpaid work.
He was ordered to pay his victim £350 compensation and a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
ALSO in court was Ellessey Perry-Wilkinson, who admitted drink driving and two counts of drug driving.
Perry-Wilkinson, 24, of Griffin Close, Bridgwater, committed the offences on the A38 Bristol Road, in the town, on August 28 last year.
Tests showed she had 67 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath - the limit is 50 microgrammes.
And she tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.
She was banned from driving for 40 months and received a community order, along with a £500 fine, £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
