POLICE have been called in following "numerous reports" of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage at a Somerset church.
The Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing team has been carrying out regular patrols of All Saints Church, in Castle Cary.
Officers say they will respond to any further reports.
They are asking members of the public to report any incidents they see.
A spokesperson for the policing team said: "The Wincanton NPT have been doing regular patrols of All Saints Church in Castle Cary after numerous reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminal damage.
"The NPT are taking positive action and will be regularly seen in and around Castle Cary, the more reports the team get of ASB, the more action they can take.
"Reports of ASB on 101 build a picture for the NPT and may be the information needed for a bigger investigation."
