THIS Saturday (May 14) sees the return of eat:Taunton food and drink festival in the town centre after a two-year absence.
More than 100 food and drink producers will be filling Taunton Minister churchyard, Hammet Street and East Street with a massive choice of products, alongside free entertainment.
The one-day free to attend festival is brimming with great local produce such as cheese, ciders, bread alongside unique finds including mushroom growers, charcuterie and wine makers.
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks are well taken care of with awesome street food.
Expect to find street entertainers, fairground rides, a face painter, DJs and buskers.
The event is backed by Thatchers Cider and local estate agents Greenslade Taylor Hunt.
Expect all your dietary needs and choices to be catered for, seating, level access throughout and dogs are very welcome.
Event organiser Bev Milner Simonds said: "It is great to be back in Taunton after such a long break due to Covid and then some shocking weather last year.
"We have so many brilliant producers based in this area and it is great to give them an opportunity to showcase their products to a local audience.
"This event is also a special one for us with the first crop of the Bursary, sponsored by Thatchers Cider taking their first steps into face to face trading. They will be set up on Church Square."
