TAUNTON Brewhouse are gearing up for a laugh in the next two week with two exciting comedy shows coming up.
They are set to welcome the unique history show from Living Spit, and also some standup from Patrick Monahan.
Living Spit, dubbed the Morcombe & Wise of Weston-Super-Mare by the Telegraph, are back with the second of their (un)Holy Trinity of hilarious heritage historiographies as Howard and Stu attempt to tell the story of the greatest monarch that ever lived - Elizabeth: The Virgin Queen.
"The show features live original music, silly songs, and smutty shenanigans, this promises to be (another) poorly researched lesson in Tudor history that you’ll never forget," the theatre has said.
"Join us at the Brewhouse for a side-splitting evening on 17 May 2022, 7.30pm."
Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival, Patrick Monahan is set to bring his ‘delightful, impressive and very funny’ stand up show to Taunton.
Patrick discusses his changing and colourful life from working class Iranian, Irish, Immigrant roots with his family living in a caravan to modern middle-class life living in Central London.
Described by the Daily Mirror as a fringe legend, Patrick is a TV regular having appeared on the One Show and BBC Asian Network, ITV’s Weekend and Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff.
"We’ll be rolling in the aisles on 21 May 2022, 7.45pm," the theatre added.
Tickets for Living Spit and Patrick Monahan are on sale from Taunton Brewhouse’s Box Office now. Tel: 01823 283244 www.tauntonbrewhouse.co.uk.
