FAN favourite Gethyn Hill has announced he will be leaving Taunton Town immediately.
The striker, who has been with the club for two seasons said on social media it was a pleasure to play for the club.
"It’s been a pleasure to play for Taunton Town FC the past 2 seasons & glad to go out with a winners medal.
"I wish the players, staff, club & fans all the best in the National League South next season."
The football club has said: "We can confirm that Gethyn Hill has departed the club after spending the last two seasons with the Peacocks.
"We would like to thank Gethyn for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him the best of luck for the future."
The striker joined in May 2020 from Merthyr Town and went on to score 17 goals from 38 full and 11 substitute appearances.
Despite suffering a bad face injury in Janaury 2022, Hill returned to be a major player at the back end of the campaign.
In other player news, Jared Lewington and Jake Wannell have announced contract extensions for the season ahead.
This brings the total number of players signed on up to eleven for Taunton Town.
