THREE lawyers working for a Somerset solicitors have handed promotions as a reward for their hard work.
Maitland Walker LLP, which operates offices in Minehead, Taunton, and London, has welcomed a new equity partner and two new partners in its 2022 promotions list.
Ben Slade, partner and head of Maitland Walker's Taunton office, said the promotions “demonstrate that hard work is always rewarded”.
Sheree-Ann Virgin, a commercial litigation lawyer based in Taunton, has been promoted to become an equity partner.
Emily Simpson, a private client lawyer based in Minehead, and Faith Angus, a Taunton-based property lawyer, have both been promoted from senior associates to partners.
Ben said: “We are looking forward to working alongside Sheree-Ann as our newest equity partner and Emily and Faith, who bring the total number of partners within the firm to eight.
“Our people are our greatest asset and enable us to provide the technical expertise and outstanding service our clients trust and expect.”

Maitland Walker was established by renowned European and competition solicitor Julian Maitland-Walker.
Since then, the firm has expanded to provide a full range of legal services for businesses and private clients.
Maitland Walker has offices at The Parks in Minehead and The Crescent in Taunton.
