POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a daytime burglary in a property in Wellington.
A thief stole a number of items of jewellery during the raid last Thursday (June 30).
The offender broke in after smashing a window at the rear of the home in Nowers Lane.
They conducted a searched of the premises before making off with the jewellery.
The incident took place between 9am and 5pm.
A spokesperson for Wellington Neighbourhood Policing team said: "Did you see anything suspicious in this area on anywhere near to the Wellington Relief Road between the above times?
