ESTATE agents and property consultants Carter Jonas recently held its annual croquet afternoon.
A total of 16 players in four teams took part in the event at Wellington Croquet Club, in Oake.
The teams were made up of professionals, including staff from Porter Dodson solicitors, AC Mole accountants and Handelsbanken.
The afternoon consisted of two games of round-robin croquet for the coveted trophy.
Stephen Richards, partner at Carter Jonas, said: "We were blessed with the sunshine and it was nice to enjoy the British summer at its best.
"The guests enjoyed drinking Pimm's, eating strawberries and playing such an English game as croquet in such a rural setting with the backdrop of mature oak trees and Oake Manor Church.
"Half-time refreshments of coffee cake and lemon drizzle were served with cups of tea.
"A big thank you to our hosts, the Wellington Croquet Club and to our guests for such an enjoyable afternoon.”
