A film based on the role-playing-game Dungeons and Dragons, that was partly filmed in the Somerset city of Wells, is set to have its first reveal shown next week.
The film's full title is Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and is not the first adaptation of the RPG, with a version being made in 2000, along with two direct-to-video films in 2005 and 2012.
This reboot film is set to have its first presentation at San Diego Comic-Con next week, which lasts from July 21-24.
Film crews descended on Wells last year to film segments, and used the cathedral as well as the area outside the Bishop's Palace for several scenes.
Chris Pine was one of the actors seen on location, who is known for playing James T. Kirk in the rebooted Star Trek films, as well as appearing in Wonder Woman, Into the Woods, Unstoppable and Hell or High Water.
Young actress Chloe Coleman, who is known for appearing in the TV series Big Little Lies, was also spotted in Wells.
Other members of the cast include Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Jason Wong and Daisy Head.
The film is expected to be released in 2023 in cinemas, and was directed by the duo of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
