Former Great British Bake Off contestant Val Stones, who entered the competition in 2016, will visit the show on Saturday and speak in the Seeds of Knowledge Tent.
She will assemble a lemon, elderflower and poppyseed cake whilst discussing her experience on Bake Off and offering kitchen words of wisdom.
The competition marquee will host a range of classes including flowers, fruit and vegetables; fine art, photography, and floral art and floristry.
An event spokesperson said: “The competition marquee is looking forward to its many, varied entrants, with the addition of the expansion of the Rose classes in conjunction with the Rose Society.
“The floral marquee will be showcasing some excellent traders, with an amazing floral display from Monkton Elm Garden Centre.
“Our designer gardens will be reflecting a range of different ideas, including a Bamboo and Zen Garden, one based on the Lord Tennyson’s Poem ‘The Lady of Shalott’, and a garden exploring the Persian word ‘paradise’.”
