A BRIDGWATER man was given a suspended prison sentence for drinking alcohol.
Wayne Antony Savage, 38, whose address was given in court as c/o West Quay, breached a court order banning him from drinking.
He was back before Taunton Magistrates' Court this week, where he admitted testing positive for alcohol on 11 occasions between May and June this year, in breach of a community order.
Savage was given a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months for the original offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.
He was given two two-week sentences (concurrent) for damaging a van and failing to surrender to bail.
He was also ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work and to refrain from drinking alcohol.
