EXHIBITORS managed to produce some amazing entries for a village flower show despite the prolonged hot, dry spell.
Organisers of Kingston St Mary Flower Show were delighted with the quality of entries from children at Saturday's event.
And there was special congratulations for Tamsin Boyce, who won the Children's Trophy for the second year running.
Meanwhile, Marian Dunsford won the bread making trophy for fourth year on the trot.
A total of 57 people took part in the show with an overall 349 entries.
Show secretary Annie Trolley said: "The hall looked beautiful as ever, decorated with our handmade bunting.
"Refreshments were served in the garden beneath the shade of the old apple tree as well as the gazebos gratefully lent by friends and neighbours.
"Also, a huge thank you to those who stepped in at the last minute to help with serving refreshments.
"The committee couldn’t do it without this extra help each year."
