STREET Skate Park has officially reopened after it had been shut for eight months.
The High Sheriff of Somerset and the chair of Street Parish Council were in attendance to perform the ribbon cutting.
After the park reopened, Street Parish Council said: "It was so inspiring to see the young people enjoying the park and performing their impressive tricks with all their bits of kit.
"It was an honour to spend time with all the families and local young people, as well as our Chair of Council, Cllr. Laura Wolfers - Chair 22-23, and The High Sheriff of Somerset, who together officially opened the park."
One of the youth in attendance, Oliver, aged 15, said: "I'm so happy the skatepark is open. I only live 5 minutes away and I've been having to go to Glastonbury. I heard it was opening again on Facebook and I love coming here."
