NYNEHEAD Nynehead Court estate is hosting a free to attend Food from the Garden event on Saturday, September 17 from 1pm to 5pm.

Anna Gorman, owner of Wellington-based Vegan to You, is running a main course and dessert demonstration.

Anna, who has been a chef for over 20 years, will show visitors how to create these two plant-based dishes and share taster dishes.

Head gardener Justin Cole will be hosting two garden tours.

The focus will be on the fruit and vegetables grown in the kitchen gardens and used in the residents’ meals.

Home manager Joanne Fenn said: “Our Food from the Garden event will showcase the wonderful produce which our team of gardeners grow in our grounds, and which enables the Nynehead Court estate to have a low carbon footprint.

"We hope as many people as possible join us on September 17 to learn more about our grounds and how to prepare the delicious produce into wonderful vegan meals.”
