WIVELISCOMBE Flower Show and Fete returned to its former home on Saturday.
Locals were delighted the popular annual event was back after a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic.
It was held in the town recreation ground rather than its regular venue of Kingsmead School, which is being redeveloped.
The show centred around the competitive classes involving flowers, vegetables, handicraft, cookery, children’s section plus art and photography.
The exhibits were staged in marquees provided by the new main sponsor, The Bear Inn, and went on show once judging was completed.
There were also sideshows and stalls, a tug o' war, children’s competitions and activities, as well as refreshments and plenty for all the family to enjoy.
