SCORES of people enjoyed an afternoon of music, activities and entertainment at Porlock Weir Sea Festival on Saturday (September 24).
The fun included live theatre by Clementines Theatre Company, sea shanties by The Barnacle Buoys and Hugills, archery, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking with Exmoor Adventures, wood carving with Mike Leach.
There was also an appearance from town crier Grant Dennis, oyster tours and shucking demonstrations by Porlock Bay Oyster Company, boat trips with Porlock Weir Charters, an RNLI stand, sea-themed treasure hunt and talks by Exmoor Natural History Society.
Porlock Weir Gig Club held a regatta, with boats arriving at high tide.
Food and refreshments were available around Porlock Weir and minibus transport was laid on at the event, which was funded from Somerset County Council's Community Renewal Fund.
