A CLUB cricket ground in Taunton is to host the UK's touring outdoor cinema next year.
Adventure Cinema is bringing its Elvis Open-Air Cinema Tour to Taunton Deane Cricket Club's home ground beside Vivary Park.
The showing of the new Elvis film starring Tom Hanks and Austin Butler is being screened in the open air on Friday, September 29, from 7.45pm.
The movie by Australian filmmaker and actor Baz Luhmann - who is behind the Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge! - explores Elvis Presley's complex relationship with his manager Colonel Tom Parker and includes plenty of iconic songs from the King of Rock and Roll.
Ben Lovell, co-director at Adventure Cinema said: "We are delighted that Adventure Cinema will return next summer to celebrate the iconic King of Rock and Roll and offer everyone the chance to see the newly released movie in an incredible outdoor setting.
"Summer 2022 was our longest season yet and we can’t wait to bring everyone together again for unforgettable cinema experiences.”
Tickets for Adventure Cinema start from £15.50 plus a booking fee and are available now via www.adventurecinema.co.uk/
