A Taunton swimmer has excelled recently at the Down Syndrome World Swimming Championships in Portugal.
Caroline Faithful won three silver medals and one bronze medal at the competition held in Albuferia.
Caroline is a member of Taunton Deane Swimming Club and has now become one of the best swimmers in the world.
She won a silver medal in the 400 metre freestyle race ad well as two more in Women's relay races.
The bronze medal was in the 800 metre freestyle race for her age group.
Caroline travelled with the thirty-strong Great Britain Down Syndrome Swimming team to the World Championships.
Over the five days of competing, Caroline also recorded four new personal best times.
Overall a great effort from the young swimmer.
