A RAIN and wind weather warning has been issued for Somerset.
The Met Office said “a short period of very heavy rain and squally winds” are likely to cause some disruption in the South West.
The yellow warning will be in place from 6pm to 11.59pm today, Monday, November 7.
Here is what to expect according to the Met Office:
- Some delays to road, rail, air, and ferry transport are likely;
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer;
- Spray and temporary flooding on roads probably making journey times longer;
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely;
- Some short-term loss of power and other services is possible.
