BISHOPS Lydeard Ladies Football team have a very important and exciting fixture this weekend.
They take on Liskeard Athletic in the First Round proper of the Women's FA Cup.
A win in this match could see the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea or other WSL sides make the journey to Somerset.
Head coach of the team, Julie Bowker said the whole club is excited.
"Everyone is hyped up for the match this weekend which is nice to see. It is definitely a good time for the club," she said.
"We have beaten Liskeard in the league once already but they are a good side and in the cup anything can happen, so we will see."
The match kicks off at 2pm on Sunday at Darby Way in Bishops Lydeard.
Bowker added: "For anyone with an interest in football, come and support a team full of local girls trying to continue this impressive cup run, we would love to see you down supporting us."
