TAUNTON Flower Show organisers have announced a special offer to celebrate the launch of tickets for the 2023 show.
Tickets go on sale on Monday (November 28) and visitors to the show will be able to take advantage of the special offer of buy one ticket, get one free.
Reflecting on the 2022 show, chairman elect Steve Froud said “It was great to be back in Vivary Park for our 2022 show, particularly after two tough years.
"We could not have done it without the incredible support of our members, traders, volunteers and sponsors, as well as the general public.”
Founded in 1831, next year will see the 191st Taunton Flower Show and the charity is upbeat about the plans for the showcase event, despite the challenges of increased contractor costs alongside the cost of Vivary Park and Wilton Lands.
Mr Froud added: “We rely on the revenue from each show to fund the next one as we receive no public funding.
"Our outgoings this year went way above our expected budget, but we are committed to continue with the 2023 show, intending to build the show back up after a difficult period.
"We are really excited about some new plans we are already putting in place for next year’s show.
"We are always looking for ways to improve the show and make it a great experience for all our visitors.
"The competition marquee is growing in reputation, with competitors and judges alike coming from further afield to showcase their horticultural brilliance and beautiful floral displays."
Tickets the 2023 event are available from the Taunton Flower Show from 10am on Monday.
They are priced at £13 for Friday, August 4, and £10 for Saturday, August 5.
Details of how to support the show by becoming a member, volunteer, sponsor or trader are also available on the website.
