TAUNTON Town are all set for their Third Round FA Trophy match against Slough Town on Saturday, December 17.

It will be the second time the two sides will have played this season, in the National League back in September, Slough won 1-0.

It was a very tightly fought match though, in which the hosts won 1-0 thanks to a very late goal.

Either side could have won that earlier encounter which makes this one more exciting as the Peacocks have definitely grown into their season since then.

Jake Wannell is now back to fitness and Ross Stearn is playing more and more minutes off the bench as an impact player.

Slough are coming into this match on the back of four games without a win and a postponed game.

Whereas Taunton, who have not played in the last 10 days, come into the game on the back of three matches without a win.

Kick off is at 3pm in Slough and the winner will earn a place in the final 32 teams in the competition.
