A SOMERSET village has raised money for victims of the war in Ukraine and Taunton Foodbank at its Christmas market.
Creech St Michael held its Community Christmas Fayre across three venues for the first time, with the aim of bringing people together for the festive season.
There were around 60 stalls in total at the village hall, Baptist church and Bell Inn for villagers and guests to browse on Saturday, December 10.
The fayre also featured live music, clog dancing, children's crafts and games, ice cream, burger vans and mulled wine.
Stalls at the pub were positioned under gazebos, while the village hall and Baptist church had indoor markets.
Before the event, Creech St Michael Parish Council said the fayre would be “a positive thing after the stresses of the last couple of Christmases” and provide a boost for small businesses.
There were collectors for Taunton Foodbank and Tearfund, a Christian charity that tackles poverty and injustice and has launched a Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Our photographer Steve Richardson attended the fayre to capture the festive atmosphere.
