FAMILIES got into the festive spirit at Street Football Club's annual Christmas party on Sunday, December 18.
Children and adults donned their Christmas jumpers and headwear for the party, which was held at the club's Tannery Ground clubhouse.
The party featured a disco, party games and crafts. It was free to enter, but families were asked to book their spaces in advance.
The club's café and bar were open to supply drinks and refreshments throughout the event, which ran from 1pm until 5pm.
The Christmas party was one of several festive-themed events held at the Tannery Ground by ‘The Cobblers’ this month.
On Sunday, December 11, the club held a Christmas market that gave children a chance to visit Father Christmas and his elves.
The club organised a Christmas quiz night on Tuesday, December 20 that offered cash prizes, a raffle and complimentary mince pies and nibbles.
Street Football Club's first team play in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, currently occupying ninth place in the 19-team league table.
The club's reserves compete in the Somerset County League. There is also a veterans' side and youth teams, which are part of the Yeovil & District Mini Soccer League.
