A CRASH closed the A362 near Frome both ways this morning (January 2).

The road was closed for a couple of hours following the single-vehicle crash, which caused traffic delays in the area.

Avon and Somerset Police said: “We received a call from the ambulance service at 9.02am this morning (Monday, January 2) following a single-vehicle collision on the A362, close to the junction with the A366, near Radstock.

“A temporary road closure was put in place while recovery work was carried out.

“Officers left the scene and resumed patrols at approximately 10.45am.”

We have approached the South Western Ambulance Service (SWASFT) for a comment.
