TWO Somerset towns have been included in the Top 10 most welcoming UK destinations list from Booking.com.
Frome and Glastonbury featured on the list, and were the only representatives from the whole of southern England.
Following research from more than 240 million verified reviews from Booking.com travellers across 220 countries and territories, the digital travel leader is sharing the most welcoming places in the UK to inspire your next staycation.
To be recognised with an award in the UK, destinations had to have at least 50 eligible accommodations to be included in this list and were sorted by the highest share of award recipients per destination.

10. Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire
Speaking on Glastonbury, Booking.com said: "Heading south from the highlands, we arrive in Glastonbury – another of our top-ten destinations.
"Firmly on the map from festival fame, you’ll soon discover this pretty Somerset village has lots to offer budget-conscious visitors.
"Take a hike up Glastonbury Tor, visit the ancient and medieval sites or let the friendly locals regale you with stories of the myths surrounding them!"
One place they recommended staying at in Glastonbury was the Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping site.
Meanwhile, highly-rated places in Frome included Jasmine Cottage, Rook Lane House and Lullington House.
