PARKFIELD School is delighted to receive additional support from Somerset based company, Howards Motor Group who helped them in hoisting their green flag.
Parkfield Eco-Committee member Finley, wrote to some Somerset based companies asking for help with the purchase of a flag pole and the installation.
This was asked so they could fl
y the Eco Schools flag which they were awarded with distinction last summer.
Finley was delighted when the Howard Motor Group responded to his letter, and thanks to the generosity of the company the school purchased a flag pole and had it installed in the half term break.
Representatives came from the company additionaly came to meet the children with a fun interaction and learnt more about the school’s Eco work.
Louise Devine marketing director at Howards Motor Group said :“After noticing what an impact Parkfield had made, and the lengths they were going to so that they could be more environmentally conscious, Howards were only too happy to support Finley and his Eco Committee.”
