A GREGGS store has opened at a petrol station in Taunton.
Earlier this week, a new Greggs store opened at the ESSO/Morrisons petrol station on Wellington New Road.
The store opened on Thursday (March 2), and replaced the Subway which was there previous.
The storefront looks brand new and outside are a number of Greggs banners.
However, it is not all good news for fans of Greggs, as recently the chain confirmed it will not be bringing back their hot cross bun for Easter.
A Greggs spokesperson told the Metro: “While Hot Cross Buns won’t be returning to our menu this Easter, keep an eye out for other Easter favourites that will be arriving in our shops soon.”
Previous Easter-themed items at the bakery have included bunny biscuits and cornflake nests.
The petrol station also has a Morrison’s Daily store and a Costa Express.
Morrison’s Daily opened back in 2017 and at the time a spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be providing the best of Morrisons at the Wellington Road petrol station store.
"Morrisons Daily will introduce a new convenience store offer with a focus on fresh foods to the local community and we look forward to customers seeing the store’s new look.”
