THE Met Office has issued a weather warning for snow and ice in parts of Somerset.
The yellow warning is in place from 9pm tonight (Monday, March 6).
It is set to last until 10am tomorrow (Tuesday, March 7).
The warning is in place in a coastal areas of West Somerset, Sedgemoor and North Somerset.
Here's what to expect during the weather warning:
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services;
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces;
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
