A COUNTRY pub has reopened nine months after the previous landlords left.
Drinks were served again at the Bell Inn, Curry Mallet, from the end of last month (February).
Following the reopening on February 27, an official reopening party was thrown last Saturday, March 4 with live music and some special offers.
Quizzes on the first Monday of each month quizzes have resumed.
The Bell, in Higher Street, also opens most mornings from 9am for coffee - 10am at weekends. Takeaway coffees are also available.
Freshly made paninis are also served up and there are plans for lunches too.
Since the pub closed last May, a new cellar has been installed, with "new and old favourites on the pumps and behind the bar and lots of events in the planning process", according to a Facebook post.
