Frome has been crowned as the best place to live in Somerset for 2023, according to Muddy Stilettos.
The women's lifestyle website creates a 'best places to live' list each year for England and breaks it down regionally.
The 2023 list was revealed towards the end of 2022 and now after votes from Muddy Stilettos readers, the 10 Somerset entrants have been ranked.

A national winner is set to be revealed on Tuesday, March 28.
What were the 10 best places to live in Somerset?
The 10 listed entrants for Somerset were ranked by Muddy Stilettos voters as follows:
1. Frome
2. Wells
3. Somerton
4. South Petherton
5. Langport
6. Clevedon
7. Castle Cary
8. Bruton
9. Wedmore
10. Wellow
In describing Frome, Muddy Stilettos wrote: "The community-minded town’s packed with arty, artisan indie businesses and cafes including an indie cinema and a music venue where the likes of Paul McCartney and the Foo Fighters ‘just pop in’ – and it hosts the best designer-maker-producer street market in the West."
Restaurants such as The River House, The High Pavement and Eight Stony Street were recommended as well as the gastropub The Talbot Inn.
