A UKRAINIAN café cum gallery has been set up in a shopping mall in Taunton town centre.
The facility aims to help promote the unique culture and cuisine of the country.
In a joint statement, Maryna and Natalie, who are running the outlet on the Orchard Shopping Centre, said: "It will provide a central place where the Ukrainian community can come and meet up with friends and integrate with the good people of Taunton.
"We also want to develop the business so it provides opportunities for people seeking employment and a centre to support the Ukraine appeal."
They added: "We would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support in getting this venture off the ground and hope people will pop in for a coffee or tea to experience a little slice of Ukrainian culture."
The Creative Innovation Centre CIC helped set up the shop.
CICCIC co-director Richard Holt said: "This shop will help promote and support the Ukrainian culture within the town and provide a space where the community can visit and find out more and experience the amazing food and art from Ukraine."
Further support for the project has come from sponsors such as Beans and Machines, Drain Fix SW, Paydough me, Somerset Supports Ukraine, Rockwell Printers, H2 Catering Equipment, Estama, Charis and individual contributions from the local community.
