A BUSINESS that opened in Taunton last year is offering customers some great freebies to celebrate its first anniversary on Wednesday (April 12).

Rebecca Fenner, who runs The Handmade Boutique, in Station Road, is also making an announcement of "some exciting news" next week.

Throughout this week, all customers buying any items in the shop will be entered in a draw to win some fantastic prizes from the store.

Among the prizes are a Dough Bros gift voucher, a big hamper of products from the shop, a £20 spend in the shop and a handmade bag of your design and fabric choice to the amount of £20 from stockist Catherine.

Rebecca said: "We will be giving away free donuts from Dough Bros on the day of the birthday (Wednesday). There are limited numbers, so come by early.

"We have some exciting news coming next week so are encouraging people to keep an eye on our social media pages - and the County Gazette website and newspaper."

The Handmade Boutique supports and stocks products from more than 60 independent businesses from all over Somerset.

It opens Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
