There is high level sport in the town. You can catch Somerset cricket at the Cooper Associates County Ground in the summer, while in the winter Taunton Rugby Club and Taunton Town Football Club are both riding high in national leagues.

NIGHT TIME.

There's plenty of choice if you're a bit of a night owl, with pubs, bars and restaurants aplenty and entertainment for all tastes. If you;re the energetic type, there are a number of 24-hour gyms to flex your muscles in.

For those who love dining out, there's something for everyone during the daytime and the evening. Depending on what you like, the restaurant offer includes British fare, alongside Italian, Chinese, Indian, Greek and more. And the town is well served with takeaways.

SHOWTIME.

The riverside theatre Taunton Brewhouse has a full programme of shows throughout the year, while the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre attracts good audiences and the Creative Innovation Centre (CICCIC) is a popular arts and culture centre. There's an Odeon cinema for film buffs.
