HOT Chip and Christine & The Queens are among the bands confirmed to be performing in the new Woodsies area at Glastonbury Festival 2023.
The stage - which is replacing the John Peel Stage - will also feature Phoenix, Warpaint, Editors, The Courteeners and former Eurovision winners Måneskin.
The new name brings the area in line with others that are named after the fields they are in such as Silver Hayes, The Park and West Holts.
In an interview with The Guardian in March, festival co-organiser Emily Eavis said: “We’ve had 20 years of John Peel and it’s been an honour to use his name.
“We’ve had a really good relationship with the Peel family and everyone’s on board.”

She said the change was not related to a petition launched last year calling on the stage to be renamed because of historical sexual abuse allegations against the DJ.
Despite the name change, the festival promises the Woodsies Stage will offer “the same raucous, effervescent and gloriously sweaty vibes it did when it was known as the John Peel and, before that, the New Bands Tent”.
A spokesperson said: “With the same great team at the helm, they’ve delivered another fantastic line-up of both new and well-established acts.
“From the moment the stage kicks-off on Friday morning with female Ukraine rockers The Sixsters, to a closing Sunday night headline set from eclectic French pop-rock heroes Phoenix, expect a diverse, thrilling bill of some of the best live music you’ll find.”
Festivalgoers will also find a campfire, bars, cafes, installations and an aerial walkways at Woodsies, which has seen more than 1,000 new trees planted this year.
Michael Eavis, who founded the festival in 1970, will visit Woodsies' new Tolpuddle fire on the festival's first day to officially open the area.
Glastonbury 2023 will be held between Wednesday, June 22 and Sunday, June 25.
